blogging used to be cool

i dunno... maybe i'm back... maybe i'm not... i start this thing up and then i get sick of writing in it.

so a little life update to those of you who still read this:

done with semesters 1 & 2... and i took a class over the summer. i think i did reasonably well. the professors here are pretty smart for the most part. the philosophy professor that i just had last semester used to be a scientist for nasa... and the ecology and environmental science professor i had used to do genetic engineering for a paper company. the school is cool... even if there are some things that i don't like about it.

the relationship with my wife is going well. i am loving sitting in bed at night and reading with her. she's reading her semi-historical books about kings and their beheaded wives... i'm reading stephen king's story of an author's widow, who is losing her mind. we are both enjoying playing videogames and watching entire seasons of tv shows on dvd.

as far as work in concerned... i am now a barista at a starbucks in exton, pa (not the one in the mall... the one on business 30). it's a really good job, and i get free drinks while i am on duty.

my wife is an accounting clerk at a cafeteria company... she is doing very well at her job and she is glad she no longer has to be a credit union teller... something about not having to deal with rude people and the always present danger of robbery.

life is pretty good folks... hope you feel connected with God... hope life is making you all happy.

so never mind.

i'm in the middle of writing a 10 page argumentative paper on the death penalty right now. i have generally been for the death penalty, but now that i'm doing research, i'm not quite so hardcore for it.

so you say it's been a while? i agree.

at work: I drive a new set of fork lifts now. it's cool because it gives me variety on the job.

at home: i live with my wife at the inlaws' now... and let me tell you it's rough... i mean i had to give up such wonderful things, such as doing dishes by hand, and living in a cramped apartment... now i have to put up with having half of a farmhouse to live in, a wonderful set of in-laws who care about me (yuck) and i suppose i can deal with the hot tub.

at church: still working with the youth group... that's going well. i love hanging out with the students... it makes me feel young again.

all in all life is good... what can you say when God blesses you with so much...
